Last but not least.  A few words about me - and
my approach. I’m originally from Edinburgh and
I trained as a nurse before travelling in Australia
for a couple of years. I then spent eight years
in the whisky industry as a buyer, another year
travelling in South East Asia, and then moved
to the Highlands in 1992. I’m married with two
children and set up bluethistle in 2000.

Strange, as it may sound, I don’t see bluethistle
being in competition with anyone else. Ours is a
small firm and we only take on as many projects
as we can deal with while keeping standards high.
We also believe it’s important to work in harmony
with venues and other support services, and to
have fun doing so. What benefits us, ultimately
benefits everyone - and vice versa. We love
working with others - and really enjoy being part
of a team effort. That’s why we take time to develop
relationships built on trust and friendship, so that,
in turn, we know we can promise our clients
a service well beyond their expectations.
